In the clip, Gillies is seen fixing her hair and telling Grande "it has to be pretty" before counting to three and planting a kiss on the "Break Free" singer, who promptly freaks out afterwards. But, judging by the fact that she puckered up, Grande wasn't as surprised as she lets on.
According to the video's caption, Grande posted it by accident. (Sure, sure.) She even took to Twitter to provide an explanation about the clip:
Gillies was totally cool with the video going live. She tweeted back at Grande with, "HAHAHA. THAT GEM."
The duo first met about seven years ago when they both starred in the musical "13" on Broadway. They then starred in Nickelodeon's "Victorious" together before Grande got her own spinoff, "Sam & Cat." These days, while Grande's performing in massive stadiums, Gillies is starring on the FX series "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll."
